Spinal Adjustments

At the core of chiropractic is the spinal adjustment. The vertebrae are responsible for protecting our spinal column and the nerves that exit. Dr. Favro evaluates the movement of the joints and uses a technique that will work best for you to correct any joints that are not properly aligned.

Non-Spinal adjustments

Just like the joints in the spine, the joints in the upper and lower limb can become irritated and inflamed. Adjusting these joints and helping restore their proper movement will reduce pain and improve function.

Spinal Decompression

The discs that sit between the vertebrae act like a cushion and help protect our spine. Sometimes those discs can become dehydrated or damaged causing increased pressure on the nerves. A great way to reduce that pressure and help rehydrate the disc is to manually decompress the nerve and stretch out the space between the vertebrae.

Posture and Mechanics Screening

Posture is the way we hold ourselves. Mechanics is they way we hold ourselves when we are moving. A thorough evaluation of posture and mechanics can uncover problems that may not have been noticed. Screening allows Dr. Favro to create a treatment plan based specifically on the way you move each day.
