What is medical massage?

Medical massage is similar to a spa-like experience with the major difference being the goal. In medical massage, the outcome determines the treatment. Those outcomes can be to reduce pain, reduce inflammation, improve mobility, improve circulation, reduce nerve compression, or other healthcare concerns. Our massage therapist will work with the doctors to determine the areas of concern and a proper treatment pathway to make sure you get the most out of your massage.

How many sessions do I need?

Everybody is different. Just like training, the body best responds to a repeated stimulus. The longer you have had your symptoms, the more sessions you will likely need. We find that most people respond well in three to five sessions. We encourage each patient to schedule an initial appointment with the massage therapist. After the treatment, the massage therapist will give you a treatment plan based on their findings at that session.

How much does it cost?

Medical massage therapy treatment can range in duration and frequency. We have created three different treatment lengths. We suggest starting with a 60-minute treatment. After that treatment the therapist will recommend a treatment plan based on your history, current condition, and goals.
